Contacts in Chats

Note!

The EasyBusy Chats platform has two types of entities called «Contacts»:

Messenger Contacts — users you can exchange messages with through a connected account. This list contains contacts available within the respective messaging platform.

Contacts in the Contacts module — system records containing information about customers, companies, and other individuals. These records can be created directly from a chat or linked to existing chats.

Creating and Viewing Contacts

After selecting a messenger and account in the interface, you can access the contacts for that account — click ☰, then select Contacts.

Note

In this section, «Contacts» refers to the list of users within the messenger. The Contacts module is a separate section of the platform.

Note

Creating contacts is not supported for all integrations. Instagram and Facebook, for example, do not allow contact creation — this is a limitation imposed by Meta.

Integration with the Contacts Module

The Chats module integrates with the Contacts module — you can create new records in the Contacts module or link a chat to an existing contact directly from the Chats interface.

Note

Please keep in mind that records in the Contacts module and contacts within a messenger are two different things. This section covers the integration with the Contacts module specifically.
